About

Diane was working in Kids TV programs distribution when she started to train in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre at Circomedia in 2020. Little by little, she left her office life to dedicate to circus. She is an aerialist and a juggler with a strong inclination for comedy and wordplay. She loves to write stories and create funny characters inspired by her circus journey and juggling props.

She has perfomed in the Circus Café of Cirque Bijou as well as created her own comedy juggling act Super Dropper. She was selected as "Emerging South West Circus Creator" to perform this act in VOLT, Bristol Circus City Festival Scratch Night in 2021.

Diane also trained in Burlesque with The Cheek of it! She has created a juggling burlesque act in 2023 that she has performed in several venues across London under the name Loulou Folamour.

Diane has taught and facilitated circus activities with kids and adults. She is part of the teaching team of the National Centre for Circus Arts and works with Upswing on their Homemade Circus project that brings circus into care homes. Diane has also delivered her own circus workshops within charities such as the Bristol Folk House and Green Shoes Arts.

When she is not perfoming or teaching, Diane works behind the scenes with circus organisations such as the National Centre for Circus Arts and Clowns without Borders UK.
